“We met with a few architects before we sat down with Louis. We never felt a true connection and no one seemed to have the vision that we were looking for. We have always loved Nequette’s distinctive style. Immediately after meeting with him, we knew he was the architect for our dream home. Louis really listens, is extremely thoughtful and very passionate about each and every project he is involved in. By the end of the weekend after we had met with him the, he had sketched a drawing of our future home. It was absolutely stunning. He was able to transform our Homewood lot in to the most beautiful home that we could ever imagine. Louis was also able to create a new home that fit in to our established, historic neighborhood. The scale of the house fits beautifully in our neighborhood. We have even had people ask if we were doing an addition to an already existing home.

Louis’s team is just as amazing as Louis! The collaboration between their team is fun to watch. It’s like they have their own language, but are able to translate it beautifully to their client. They have the whole yin and yang thing going on! The relationship that we have established through out this process will continue after the project is done. This talented group of people have become our friends. They have held our hands the entire time and have truly taken an interest in our family and how we live. If we wanted to add a space, they quickly had a plan and executed it seamlessly. They cared about our vision of the home and wanted to make sure it is what we dreamed of and never lost sight of that. They really listened and communicated with us and our builders the entire time. They also have a great sense of humor and that helped ease our stress from time to time during the home building process.

I can’t even begin to imagine building a home without with this amazing team guiding us. They were with us the entire time, provided us with vision, support, incredible communication and true friendship. Nequette has built several homes in our neighborhood and each one has it’s own distinctive design. The homes they build are timeless in design and evoke all of the senses. Ours fits that description as well. Our home looks just like what Louis sketched that one weekend after we first met with him! I love that he still hand draws his designs, especially in this high tech world that we now live in! His attention to detail is impeccable. He has created a talented team to help execute a beautiful vision. We are thankful to have been a part of their vision.
