The Cottages at Riverlights is a coastal community located in Wilmington, NC along the Cape Fear River. This beautiful community offers various residential choices, homes for active adults, single-family, luxury homes, townhomes, and rental options. The Riverlights cottages range from one bedroom to three bedrooms. Future residents can select from seven different floor plans. Amenities include a resort-style pool, pool house with outdoor grills, fitness center, dog walk, quaint courtyards, and pocket parks.
All buildings are wood framing construction with several having exterior horizontal lap siding and others board and batten siding. All Cottage roofs have architectural dimensional asphalt shingles, and the Clubhouse roof has a metal standing seam roof.
The project is on a 21.72-acre lot. The cottages consist of 279 Units with 6 basic unit types as follows: 1 Bedroom Loft Twins (6 Total Units); 1 Bedroom Carriage House Single and Twin (46 Total units); 1 Bedroom Cottage L (48 Total units); 1 Bedroom Cottage S (46 Total Units); 2 Bedroom Cottage (116 Total Units); and a 3 Bedroom Cottage (17 Units). There will be some twin (duplex) units which are a combination of two 1 BR Cottage L units, two 2 BR Cottage units, a 1 BR Cottage L unit and a 2 BR Cottage, and twin 1 BR Carriage houses.
The Clubhouse Building will be 3,960 sq. ft. and contain offices, workroom, package room, lounge, small fitness center, men and women’s restrooms, and a mechanical room. The building will be one story, wood framed with wood roof trusses and have an exterior wall of horizontal lap siding and roof skin of standing seam metal panels. There will also be an approximately 2,400 square foot pool adjacent to the building with Pool House and outdoor counter with grills.
