The historic Harold Furniture buildings on Birmingham’s 2nd Avenue North are being redeveloped into luxury loft apartments, office and retail space.
Nequette Architecture & Design purchased the interconnected buildings at 2255 and 2227 2nd Ave. N last year “to keep the neighborhood growing,” said Louis Nequette.
The buildings will house nine loft-style one-bedroom apartments, two office suites and two ground-level retail spaces. Nequette Architecture & Design will move into office and studio space on a newly added fourth floor.
