If you’re interested in how it would feel to live in downtown Birmingham, experts say it’s a good time to test the waters.

That’s because there’s a growing variety of product on the market, at least compared to some recent stretches in the city center’s revival. And even more projects are in the pipeline in the short term.

One of the newest entrants is The Thomas, a development from Nequette Architecture located on Second Avenue North. As we’ve previously reported, the building has been redeveloped into commercial space on the ground floor, a fourth-floor addition that is the new Nequette offices, and nine large loft units on the second and third floors.
