A building in downtown Birmingham from the early 1900s is in the process of being transformed into a modern day mixed-use property, and should be nearing completion in the early part of 2018.
Construction teams are hard at work on the former Harold’s Furniture location, two interconnected buildings at 2225 and 2227 2nd Ave. N. that will contain ground floor retail space, 10 lofts, and a new fourth floor office space for Nequette Architecture & Design. The building was purchased last year, and is just down the street from popular restaurants Bamboo on 2nd and El Barrio.
